About Me
My name is Steve Forman, I am a father, husband, a professional rescuer, and constant adventurer who pushes myself in the outdoor arena. I have over 30 years experience providing all-risk rescue/fire/medical operations to our communities and I have even needed to be rescued myself, bringing both perspectives to my training. I have been a qualified Fire Service educator for more than 28 years with all-risk emergency fire departments. Generalized highlights of my career:
* 30 years experience with professional fire departments, including Cal FIre
*Chief Officer, Management and Leadership experience
*Wildfire Mitigation, response and prescribed fire experience.
*10 years Ski Patrol experience, Search/Rescue in the Mountains and snow
*Paramedic and Emergency Medical Technician Licensed
*Avid Skier, backpacker, hiker, motorcycles and camping
*Dual sport motorcycles have taken over my life.
